Scott and the Soules family were an integral part of my life for so many years in Seattle. Scott will be sorely missed. A tragic loss. My condolences to the Soules family. Rock on brother!
The Soules were wonderful neighbors to the Wests growing up in Wedgwood. Us kids "looked up" to Scott in many ways. We are so very sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace Scott.
What keeps coming up for me, each time I think of him, is Scott's kindness. Always, even when we were in high school, even during fraternity days at the U of W. And the way he listened, with his full attention, head inclined towards you, listening carefully, quietly, respectfully. It's a very rare and special quality.
Scott was not only my landlord for well over three decades, but he was also a very very dear friend. You will be missed Scott, and the day I go, I sure hope to see you first. I love you brother.
My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Scott on real estate transactions over the years and he was such a delight to work with. He was a good business man and an even better individual; the world could use more people like Scott in it - he will be greatly missed.
Scott Soules is loved and missed by our family. He was the best landlord to us and a mentor to me for 38 years since I was 17. We would not have what we have nor be who we are today without him.
I can't find even remotely adequate words to say how very sorry I am at Scott's sudden passing. Such a huge loss on so many fronts. You're much on my heart and in my frequent prayers.
Beautifully written obit for a fine guy. It was so easy to connect with Scott on Sodo neighborhood and Seattle political matters, and very clear he was always FOR the greater good of things. His Dad and mine were Roosevelt and UW friends and I was RHS classmate of brother Steve. Seems like long term connections were easier when Seattle was a smaller, friendlier town. And especially glad he gave me only minor crap about being a Wazzu Coug ! He is missed......... Robb Stack
