Just finding out today (11/18/24) of Scott's passing. I still hear Scott's voice calling me in the morning, " Wease baby! Time to get up, we've got projects to do! Let's Go, Go, Go!". I was the main Bighorn "roadie" for 2 years with Scott as our manager. Would see him occasionally when passing through the NW. He will Surely be missed, what a gentle giant he was.

I have known Scott for over 30 years. Scott had help guide me into involvement with the UDP, BIA and my Chamber of Commerce involvement. Scott was a gracious mentor and famous example for me to follow.
Scott, I miss you and your sage advice.
Wish you best in your future adventures.

I moved into 1314 on 43rd as a new psychologist in 2011, opening my private practice for the first time, because Scott made me feel safe! He even modified the space I eventually took, making two small spaces into one office by creating an archway in the wall! Scott treated me with respect and equanimity. I've been in my office 12 years and each day I go to work, I come home to myself and my clients. May his memory be a blessings to all of us.

To all of Scott's family members -
Please accept our sincere condolences in the passing of Scott. I knew Scott as "Sandy's oldest brother." I met him in 1976 during the summer after Sandy and I met and attended Linfield College in Oregon.
I remember meeting Scott and, not having grown up with brothers, especially TALL brothers, I admit that I was a bit afraid of him. That was a long time ago.
As I participated in various Soules gatherings over the years, I became aware of the quiet, thoughtful nature of Scott. He seemed solid and stalwart. It was obvious that people depended on him for wisdom, hard work, and organizational/business skills.
He will be greatly missed. Our hearts are with you all in the loss of Scott.

What a beautiful tribute, Natalie and Lorna. I feel fortunate to have known him via our book club. What good times. What a smart, fun, and funny human. Much love to you all.

I first met Mr. Soules through my father, Raymond, who appreciated Mr. Soules for his kindness, and strong advocacy of small business owners. After my father passed, Mr. Soules was gracious with his time when I had questions about real estate or the history of the University District. He fostered a wonderful sense of community and the University District has been deeply enriched by his leadership and dedication.
My condolences to the Soules family.

My sincere condolences to the Soules family. Scott and I would meet for coffee under the premise of discussing real estate. After a few minutes of catching up about our families (and a little bit of real estate), with the enthusiasm of a teenager, Scott would then tell me about how fast his Tesla was…Rest in Peace, my friend.
