Coach Ebarb, our nephew, embraced his Native American Choctaw-Apache heritage. His accomplishments instilled pride in his Indian family. Richard and his incredible wife Lindsay honored our Ebarb by joining in and being one of us. Richard’s legacy is his love of family. We miss him 🙏

I am so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful person who was a great coach and friend. He spent a lot of his life helping and teaching many young men about sports and about life.

I met him as another high school coach and every time I saw him at a game or a coaches meeting, we got along great and he was so friendly and a funny person.

I wish you all remembering him for all he did for people on this earth.

Respectfully,

Coach Dan Thomas

I was so sorry to hear about Coach's passing. Condolences to his entire family. I knew him before he became known as "Coach Ebarb".  He played for me for me in his first 2 years out of high school at Arizona Western College in Yuma AZ.  He was such a positive young man. I have such fond memories of him always greeting me with a simple "Hi coach", but always with that soft, warm voice and smile. I was fortunate to see him more often than many other former players, since he joined the baseball coaching profession. I'm very proud of his coaching accomplishments. So cool that he even did a little scouting, just like his Dad!!

Rest in Peace, Rich! I'm betting it's with that infectious smile.

Lindsay,

I'm sending you and your family my deepest condolences during this devastating time, and holding you close in my thoughts and prayers.

I miss Rich everyday. Loved the random "where are you at" calls and texts on any given day. He helped my boys become better players undoubtedly and was arguably the greatest mentor in life to my son Garett when he needed it the most. Didn't need to be playing for him to get some extra help either with baseball or in life. Everyone was on his "Team" and that is what will always set Rich apart from anyone else.
Lindsay-  I’m so very sorry for your loss, & the fact that we are unable to travel now. Rich sure was treasured among us & many. Grief is very hard, & I’ve certainly been through more than my share. You can call me whenever you need me. You all will remain in our thoughts & prayers.  (We sure miss you all! And we’re here if there’s anything you need from us . 🙏🏼🥰♥️ )                                              Love you all-                                                    Kellie & Jonathan Risley
It's a sad day to lose a great person in this world. Rich was always willing to help, support,  and give whenever someone needed it.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family who will miss him dearly.
I wish I had the right words to say.  I can’t imagine how hard this must be. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Lindsey and Ebarb Family,

I wanted to extend my deepest condolences for this tremendous loss in your family.  Rich was truly an amazing human being and made everybody that crossed his path feel special. None of you have left my prayers since learning of his passing..  ♥️🙏🏼 May the peace that surpasses understanding be with you now and forever.

My condolences to the Ebarb family. Coach Ebarb impacted my life to be a better player, coach, husband, and father. Coach you were most importantly a great friend. I miss you so much, thank you coach.
The news of Rich's passing has reduced my heart and soul to ash and rubble.  We had just spoken a week earlier and he was having the time of his life with his lovely and magnificent wife, Lindsay, down in San Diego at a Def Leppard concert.  Rich was my brother, Shawn's, best friend for the vast majority of his life... I knew him since he was a little boy.  You meant so much to both of us that I simply don't have the words in my lexicon to describe the void in my heart I am feeling right now.  I pray that God gives Lindsay, Vince, Elton and Tammy the strength to get through this devastating and heart wrenching time.  Rich you were a beautiful Dude... RIP my brother and friend!!
The Rush family loved Rich deeply. He made such an impact in our boys, that will last with them forever. He helped us raised some amazing men with the time he spent coaching, mentoring and just being there for them.
I loved helping him reach whatever goals he wanted for his teams. He was an amazing guy to work with. Forever in our hearts Rich!
Chrisetta & the Rush Family ❤️
