Close friend and teammates on the Long Beach State 1st Baseball Championships team of 1964. Recognize Rick as one of the greatest supporter of Long Beach State Baseball.

He was a good man.  He would share wisdom even when I didn’t think it was. Rick would take me into his house, no questions asked. I tested all of his kindness and understanding but he gave me nothing but kindness back. He was truly a thoughtful, great person to me and I feel so honored that I got to know him.
