Sending our love and condolences. Prayers for you all.
We are so sorry for the loss of Raymond. Our deepest condolences to Marina and the family.   James (Jimmie) and Paula Mitchell
Raymond Butler gave great advice when we grew up in our neighborhood, and all thru his life, he was very uplifting and fun to be around, Raymond will definitely be missed, Love You Bro
It's incredibly difficult for me to accept that Ray has been called to join God in Heaven. Ray and I first met on the golf course, where we hit it off right away.  We spent a lot of time golfing all over Seattle and hanging out in West Seattle where we both lived at the time, often enjoying drinks together. Over the past 10 years, we lost touch as I moved out of the city, and my recent attempts to reconnect with him were unsuccessful. This reminds me of the importance of putting in extra effort for our friendships. Ray's smile, laughter, advice, and genuine personality will be deeply missed. My heartfelt prayers go out to his family and his wife; we have truly lost a remarkable man.

Raymond was a true Renaissance Man.  Around 1968, my son's dad  Fred Cain and I were at somebody's basement house party. He introduced me to 'Lump' and Ray flashed that smile!😄 Those were such fun, innocent times.  Whenever we would run into each other, he always had that smile going on!! Then he introduced me to Marina, a woman whose smile was as big and as beautiful as his! Raymond packed a lot of living in his 70 years.  What a life you two were blessed to share and what a legacy he has left behind. Your husband will truly missed Marina.  Because of your faith, TMH will carry you during this most difficult time. In Yashyah's Precious Name we pray....🙏🏾

Raymond and I were best friends, throughout most of our lives. Met in 7th grade, and just bonded. Too many memories to sum up, here. Deeply missed.

Hitchye, Hytche, Hyche Family Reunion. Ray on the back row sporting his all white
Ray's passing has been a shock, to say the least, to all of us.  As a Brother-in-law, I called him Bro, Bro, and he always had a smile on his face.  His smile was indeed infectious.  He used to tease me a lot about living in Oklahoma.  Ray would always ask me "do we still have horses grazing in the grass in our front yard" or, "do the cowboys and indians still fight and shoot each other"  My husband and I became very fond of Ray, especially in the last 3 years or so.  I will never forget our family reunion in July of 2020, Ray and my husband spend hours talking about church, the bible, and his relationship with God.  My husband said, it didn't take him long to realize Ray was raised in the church and knew the Lord and the bible for himself.  We thank God for allowing us to be a part of Ray's life and his many, many, world adventures.  To, my Sister Marina, I love you and will always be your shoulder to lean on whenever you need it.  God has his hands on you and He is your comforter and your strength.  Rest in Love Bro, Bro, Raymond Redding Butler💖
My heartfelt condolences to Ray’s wife and entire family. I’ve known him since grade school and if you knew him then you would certainly recognize him as an adult. He did not age. He was a good person and will certainly be missed.

Wow! We just saw Ray Butler on June 30, sure wish this picture had captured more of his face. He came in with his beautiful wife, with that signature Ray Butler walk and greeting. He always greeted me the same way and I him, he was Ray Butler. We would occasionally run into him now and then but would typically see him at Festival Sundiata. Of course we all thought of him this past weekend at the festival.  Prayers go up for Marina, his sons, grandchildren, family and friends. May the Spirit of God comfort you, give you peace that surpasses all understanding and strengthen you during this time and in the days to come.

With love and prayers, Dianna Jourdan🙏🏾❤️

My condolences to Raymond's family. I first met Raymond when he started dating my best friend Marina.  I have hung out with them in their homes Arizona as well  as Seattle. Raymond loved going to comedy shows which we attend in Arizona. He was such a cool guy and truly loved my friend Marina. One of the best couples ever. He will definitely be missed 😩.
  • Raymond (Lump) and I golfed on The Byron Nelson PGA Course and had a ball. He was a good golfer but didn't always know his true score😆🏑 He and Rheda (my wife) had  just closed a Real Estate deal in Las Vegas and were beginning to working on a few more. We send our deepest condolences and prayers🙏🏾
