Happy Birthday, Quentin Rupp
31 years old today. Damn.
You were more than my best friend, you were my brother. We were thick as thieves from day one. No matter how much distance life put between us, it never touched our connection. We talked every single day, and when we finally linked up in person, it was like no time had passed at all.
You helped me navigate life in ways you probably never even realized. Larger than life, but your words were always filled with love, intention, and real wisdom. I miss having that person I could call for advice, to vent, to laugh, or just to catch up and be understood without explaining myself.
You were the kind of friend everyone hopes to have, loyal to the core, protective of your people, and a force to be reckoned with. Fun followed you everywhere… or you created it yourself!
I always say energy can’t be created nor destroyed, and I truly believe that. You still show up in ways that feel bigger than coincidence, and I take those moments as reminders that you’re still with me, still guiding me.
I miss you every day, my brother. Today we celebrate you, your spirit, your love, and the impact you left on all of us. Forever Q. ❤️

2020
Q was always down to go fishing, bike rides , play lacrosse with me never had to ask him twice, we went fishing at a couple lakes always had a good time! I come here almost everyday and sit here and think about all the amazing memories we had and know that he is watching over all of us. There is a fishing bobber that we got stuck in the tree (if you zoom in you might be able to see it) and still here to this day❤️. I will always remember the good times and forever Q will be with me in spirit. Missing you a little extra today… love you homie ❤️🕊

Snapped this selfie the day I met Quentin and the crew at my first music festival, while we were dancing together at Subtronics live show. Thank you Rachel Appleton for introducing me to the heroic Q <3 — with Rachel Appleton , Rachel Wagner, Aaron Knight, Quentin Rupp and Rachel Appleton

Quentin loved to skate board with his dog pulling him on a leash. Soon after he bought is home here in Raleigh NC, my wife Susie and I would see him skateboarding down our street. The funny thing was that his dog would be picking up speed the whole time. Both of them seemed to be always smiling and having a great time. Sometimes they went so fast that Quentin's hair would be blowing all over in the wind. It was quite a site to see.  We will miss you Quentin.
Dear Kathy and Stacy, it breaks my heart to hear of the death of your precious son and grandson Quentin. I know this is late in sending but I just found out today about Quentin’s tragic accident. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Dede
Rupp Family. I am so sorry for your loss. Death is an enemy to us all, taking away our most beloved ones. (1 Corinthians 15:26) Death leaves a vast void in our hearts and lives but soon Jehovah God will rid mankind of death and bring our most beloved ones back to life. (Revelation 21:4; John 5:28,29)
We were so sorry to have to miss the celebration and hold each of you in our hearts. I think our whole family will always remember Quentin as that lively, funny, feisty, determined kid who won the contest of being able to hold his breath under water while being pulled by Marc's boat. We didn't know him much as an adult but from what I hear, those same qualities served him well throughout his life. RIP Quentin and know that you were loved and remembered by many many people.
