Peter was my cousin. Some of my earliest childhood memories are of him and his wonderful Cucuz family. My deepest condolences to all of you, and especially Dina and Mike. Peter loved you all so much and especially his grandchildren. Such joy. My mom has some special memories of Peter that I always love to revisit! May our Lord and Saviour welcome Peter into His heavenly kingdom where there is no sighing or pain, but life everlasting. Memory Eternal. My thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.

Peter was my Kum, godfather of my daughters Lana and Stephanie, great friend, storyteller who made us all laugh. Also a stand up guy who was fearless in his job of protecting worker safety. Remember happy times going to White Sox games with his grandson Wyatt. Couldn't have a better friend.

My fondest memories are of Pete, Micky Iglesias, Howie Socol and and me knocking around around the West Side of Gary when we were in 7th and 8th grade. There wasn't one corner he didn't know. He was anywhere and everywhere but never home. He was a rough guy but oddly never had a bad word about anybody. My biggest schoolboy regret was
I didn't get to play side by side with Pete and John Rooda on the Gary Mann defensive line. You're so right when you say how ready he was to help anybody who came to him. A glow came over his face, bless his heart. I see he passed with a wonderful caring family and beautiful grandchildren. He deserved no less. I share your pain. I feel it on my shoulders. Morry Frank

Peter was one of the smartest people I've ever known and I am honored he considered me his friend. He loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. My condolences to everyone who knew him.

Sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers to Peter’s family. I knew Peter over 40 years and he helped me to many times to mention. He was a good man and I will miss him dearly.

So shocked to hear of Peter’s passing. Longtime childhood friend saw him a couple years ago with his brother, sister and their spouses. My condolences to his family. Rest In Peace my bratso you will be missed.
