Background

Peggy worked at Abilene Christian University for many years where she met and became friends with Scott Ferguson. They worked in the library together. Scott's daughter, Alyssa was diagnosed with brain cancer shortly after her 12th birthday. When she was presented with a Make-a-Wish, Alyssa chose to build a well in Africa for a community that was in desperate need of water. She has impacted thousands of lives with her selfless world vision. The Alyssa Ferguson World Changers Fund was established to help Alyssa's legacy continue through the funding of construction for new water wells and the repair and replacement of existing wells. Alyssa passed away shortly after her 15th birthday but her big beautiful heart lives on! Peggy prayed for Alyssa and her family and loved them dearly. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in honor of Peggy's memory. Contribute  Right arrow
