I had the good fortune to meet Mike over 10 years ago in the early days of his career. I was immediately impressed with his positive attitude, creativity and, most of all, his kindness. Over the years Mike helped me through many challenging financial situations. His business grew but he was always ready to give the same care and attention to my small portfolio that he always had. I am so grateful to have known him and will miss him very much. Recently Mike spoke of his sister to me, saying “She is my rock.” My deepest condolences to his family and friends for the tragic loss of this wonderful man.

Mike was an incredible mentor for my son Brandon as his coach during his time in the GVC Bantam and Midget Hockey programs. He was the big brother Brandon never had, one who would tease you and let you have fun,   but when it was time to buckle down and get focused, he would demand  his very best effort and held him to a high standard of play. He taught him leadership and to respect himself and be accountable; a lesson he and many of the boys  will carry with them all their lives.

To Mike’s family, our deepest condolences losing such a tremendous  young man so suddenly and so early in his life. We will carry his memory in our hearts forever.

Dear Gwen and family,

I was fortunate to have known Mike for many years.  Mike, mostly known to us as  Sabi, was considered an extension of our family, my brother's closest friend. He treated me also like a sister, helping my dad through retirement and guiding me when we lost our parents. I will be forever grateful for him always making time for my never ending questions and helping us plan for my the future of my 2 boys. I hold his memory close to my heart and miss him dearly.

Very deepest condolences from all of us.

Kim, Ramon, Cohen and Lewis

Gwen our heartfelt condolences to you and your daughter over your loss.  Words are so few at a time like this.  Michael is now at a place of peace and comfort.  Lovingly.  Dave and Madie.  Belisle
My husband and myself were very sad to hear of Mike's passing. We just met him last fall. We were looking forward to working with him. He was a very confident, smart, kind and funny. We could tell he had a zest for life!  Heaven has just received another Angel. Our thoughts and prayers go to your loving family. 🙏

Gwen and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Although I never really knew Michael it seems like he lived life well. I'll always remember the summer I babysat him and Janet when he was just a baby. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. ❤️
So young! So tragic! My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. I have lost a friend, it’s a sad time.
