I will always have fond memories working on PASAErenades with Mike during college. PASAErenades was about serenading friends, and loved ones during Valentines Day time, and I'll remember Mike being so kind, and generous, lending his talent to sing and play for people.
This is a video of him serenading Jash singing "We Could Happen" by AJ Rafael (2nd part of the video).

Mike was always so friendly and positive in my four years working in the same school with him. Every time I needed help, he was happy to dig up an adapter or monitor for me, or show me how to solve a tech issue. If I left stuff at work and needed to go back after hours, he was there to open the door for me with a smile (once he even drove over after having left the building!). I remember asking him if he had ever thought of working in tech, with all his skills and the opportunities in the Bay Area, and he joked that I couldn’t poach him from his job working with kids, because he loved it too much. And the kids love him too - so many of them tell me that technology is one of their favorite parts of school. My last conversation with him, he passed by to wish me happy birthday and asked if he could use the room across from mine. I was glad to have a new neighbor and to get to know him better.
Mike, you don’t have to ask, there will always room for you in our hearts. Im thankful that I was able to get to know the kind and generous person that you are.
