Sending you all so many hugs and love during this time. We didn’t know Maxine well but the thing I’ll never forget is when she came to visit Amritha and Dan she always made a point to bring us some of her home cooking. In those moments you could tell that she easily became the mom to whoever was in her presence. It was lovely and I’ll always remember that.

After our Dad and mum passed away, the mantle of being our Matriarch was passed on to Maxine, the role she took very seriously. She along with Peter, have been our mentor, friend and generous to a fault, not only to us siblings but also to all her nieces and nephews.
Growing up in the 50s Maxine, Justin and I were like triplets (since we' had a very small age difference). In those days, our mother used to dress us impeccably, with matching dresses, hats, shoes and socks! We did look like triplets alright!!
Music was in our blood, our father being a famous musician of his time. So growing up in the 60s we used sing in 3-voice harmony, belting out famous hit songs like Red Sails in the Sunset , Summer Time and many more, at every function we attended. We were called the "INE SISTERS", and we loved it.
In later years we continued to sing, along with the rest of our siblings, including Goan Konkani Mandos in our repertoire with our mother singing the solo parts!
We had a time of our lives!
God has been so good to us.
Maxine we miss you very much and the void can never be filled.
Missed forever, loved forever.
