From Vio Brodie, "I always loved that Linda an I shared a birthday, it was a fun way of connecting with her. She was such an inspiration--even when I was little. It was amazing to see this older woman really having it all and having a blast. One of the most generous people I have ever known,"

Very sad to hear about Linda passing away. We were trying to get together soon. We were classmates and friends at Taft High School and after graduation. We lost contact for awhile, but reconnected a few years ago. I will miss Linda’s smile and easy going personality. We had great times in our teen years and I am sorry we won’t have more time together in our senior years. My heartfelt condolences to Linda’s family and friends.

Sending comfort to Linda’s family and feeling grateful for our friendship and all the beautiful memories Linda and I shared since our 20’s. Linda, you were a gift to all who knew and loved you.

Linda will always be remembered for all the support and love she gave to all of her nieces and nephews. She was always interested in how they were doing in school, what they were learning, and could relate to them during their academic years. What I learned from her was that as women we have the strength to endure life’s challenges, even if that means we do it alone. That we are stronger than we ever give ourselves credit for. To look at ourselves as empowered beings, and to never let anyone tell us we can’t. I am stronger because of her leading by example, and I will remind myself always to live in the present, and live this life to its fullest. God Bless you Linda, and thank you for leaving behind stronger people because of you❤️
