What an awesome testimony all these great stories and comments are to Kirk. His life speaks for itself! He will continue to live through his wonderful family until they are all joined again. God bless all.
Our family sends our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to all of Kirk’s family and friends. We have known Kirk and his family most, if not all, our lives. As children, we were blessed to have spent time growing up together at Golden Acres Baptist Church and attending school together, too. Our family thought the world of Kirk and are so honored to have called him friend. What a great man of God and a wonderful and warm person, one who has surely left a beautiful legacy full of faith and love! God Bless you, Kirk. Well done good and faithful servant!
Georgia Aquarium. This photo still makes me smile! This was a kids' activity at the aquarium, where you guess the animal just by feeling the skin/fur on the board. You then lift the flap to see the answer. As we approached this one, Kirk said (SO loud and confidently) "Oh, I know that one--CARIBOU, CARIBOU!!!" 'Caribou' became a word we later used a lot to bring a chuckle. It was fun catching him making a rare mistake, but he owned it and we laughed so hard!!
