Joyce Casteen Anderson, a woman of remarkable strength and grace, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023. Born on June 30, 1936, Joyce lived a rich and full life characterized by her kindness and generosity.

In her 87 years, Joyce was passionate about many things; her family was her greatest pride and joy. She was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. She also raised, trained, and cherished many dogs throughout her life.

We will be holding a memorial for Mom in Raleigh on Sept. 23rd at Raleigh Memorial Park on Glenwood Ave (out towards Umstead Park) starting at 1pm. Please RVSP using the dropdown below.

We held a small, private memorial for Mom in Kirkland on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023. Dad and Jim were there in person, along with my family and Jim's wife, Sue. We had Bill and Doug join us via Zoom, along with Judy, Charles, and John. Ashley from Aegis Living also attended.

I plan to travel to Raleigh later in September to lay Mom to rest at Raleigh Memorial Gardens, the closest cemetery to her parents. We will have a second memorial service there in Raleigh. Details to come soon.
