Since Jen's passing, I have had random memories pop into my head, as I expect all of us have. One that continually runs through my mind is Jen's uncanny abilty to remember pop song lyrics. One particularly memorable one was when Eddie Murphy's iconic (only?) song came on the radio one day and there is Jen in the back seat singing "My girl wants to party all the time, party all the time, party all the time." Not sure this is the best way to do this, but I will keep updating my note as a way to celebrate and mourn my sister. Both yesterday and today, I remembered time we spent together on Cape Cod, long before Grandmother's house in Wellfleet or Barleyneck. Maybe West Dennis? Dad purchased one of those styrofoam surf boards, the kind for little kids that do not really hold you up. But Jen would hold onto it sideways and let the surf wash her up on the shore. Allison and I (no Sara yet) called her "Sea Cow" and we were the "White Cap Raiders" trying to knock her off the board so we could get a turn (I likely came up with the names because Allison would have been much more clever).
