I learned how to overcome, Anything. He overcame so many things that people don't usually come back from. And he was more than an overcomer because he did it all with a smile and a joke. I learned how to be a better person. From his example I am challenged to continue to become a genuine, loving, selfless friend. I have learned how to live a sober life from my dad. Because of my dad's faith I am learning a deeper level of faith. He would always tell me, when I was exhausted with a situation, "But God". Meaning, no matter how hopeless a situation was God could do anything. Anything. I know that he believed that so powerfully.
