I am deeply saddened by the passing of such a young boy, with his whole life ahead of him. As a mother, I can only imagine the profound grief of Jimmy’s family… may his soul rest in peace.

Never met Jimmy and do not know your family but wanted to do something. I work at Elmhurst University and I get choked up driving to work everyday past all the tress with red ribbons on them-what a tribute to your son. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dear Gracey family, 

I am so sorry for this terrible loss. I live in Barcelona and teach U.S. students studying abroad. I cannot imagine the pain you are going through. On Sunday we said a mass for Jimmy at my parish. Sending all my prayers and support, from Carolina Hayes.
