Hunter’s charm was ever present , from that precocious and witty 7 year old onto the charming and intelligent young man he was, On a short car ride to practice, he could both make us laugh out loud, and have our heads spin with some extraordinarily in depth grasp of current events, or science theory. I’ll forever remember his gentle soul and those eyes that often spoke for him, and smiled for days. I loved the way that he fully loved his friends , family and teams and how they adored him in return. Much Love 💕 to you Spencer, Zena and Brad.

I’m lucky to have met Hunter through our fraternity. I quickly saw that he was a natural leader with intuition for making the right decisions. I was not surprised when he eventually became president. He was as intelligent as he was funny, and he left a mark on us in the grade above him. You will be missed Hunter.

A thoughtful friend, devoted leader, and a great laugh at all times. Hunter and I shared a room and many memories together in college. He will be missed.

I was lucky to have met Hunter through the fraternity in college. I always admired his ambition and passion for everything he did. He quickly earned the respect of his peers at work, in the fraternity, and in the classroom. Watching him excel in all these areas was truly impressive. He was a leader who made an impact on everyone he came in touch with. He will be dearly missed, sending thoughts and prayers to all family and friends.

Hunter is a person that embodies kindness, warmth, and compassion in all things. He found humor in every moment or added it when it was needed. From our first conversation in 2013 it was clear he was someone to keep close. He immediately trusted me and I him. I remember him telling me he had a crush on the girl that sat a row in front of us in class. 13 year old me was shattered he didn’t have a crush on me.🤣 However, that devastation bloomed to an unbreakable friendship. Hunter had a unique bank full of knowledge and a heart full of wonder and passion. I remember far too many days surviving advanced math together all through middle and high school. We always lowkey competed for who was getting better grades; one of the things that made our friendship fun was the ability to joke and have friendly feuds. Outside of school there was no adventure to obscure or no idea too crazy that Hunter wouldn’t be down. Him and I bonded over cars, sports, music, and any current pop culture jokes at the given time. He was always there for those he held close and always made it an unmatched level of fun. He was truly a light and brought a quirky edge to everyone’s life that he touched. He will be so greatly missed to an extent that can’t be put into words. May his carefree and kind spirit live on through all of us.

Hunter was a pre-teen when he lived next door. I would watch him and Spencer jump on their trampoline and just be young boys having a good time. He was always polite when he would see me in the yard and always said hi. Occasionally he and Zena would sit by our fire pit and visit. I have fond memories of Hunter, May he Rest In Peace.

Hunter was such a large part of all of our success over the year's. I will try and share more on Saturday how much he meant to the teams he was on. I wanted to share a few fun memories that have randomly popped into my head. The time the umpire thought he missed home plate on Chase Ingersol's homerun to win the majors championship and the ensuing argument. Next just watching him try and play catch every day!!! Him pitching the final out for the Seattle Elite League title and our first of a few dogpiles to come :) He and Teddy picking the coaches signs in the first game of that series so we knew what pitches were coming. The other teams coaches figuring out we had the signs, changing them and he and Teddy figured those out the next inning. Many more but the biggest win of many of our lives being on his 18th birthday. The day he struggled playing 3B as an all star at NAF and him subsequently wanting to focus on pitching. How he worked so hard to get in such great shape for his senior year. The leadership he showed the younger pitchers when it came to understanding the way we went about practicing and the focus that was expected.

Hunter was a truly kind and beautiful person to his core. I had the pleasure of sharing 10 years of friendship with Chooch, and feel grateful for all the wonderful times we had together. My favorite memory of Chooch by far was our insanely chaotic trip to Vancouver with his fraternity our first year of college. Chooch spent the whole weekend making sure everyone was okay and having fun while also making us all laugh like crazy. It just speaks to the nature of his kind character, he had so much love for the people in his life and always made sure everyone was included in the shenanigans. He had the unique ability to bring life and joy into any situation where he was put, and always made the people around him feel loved and supported. I miss him everyday, love you buddy.

I played with Hunter for 11 straight years of baseball, the first time when I was 8 and for the last time when I was 19. I spent countless hours on the field, in the car, at practice, birthdays, games, events and class with Chooch. Having Hunter as a teammate and friend is something I will always be thankful for. He was the definition of a teammate and was so extremely valuable to the dugout and culture of every team that I was apart of. He was a constant source of laughter and knowledge, when he entered the room you knew that there was going to be a good conversation. I can’t even begin to recount all of the memories I have with Chooch, I am very grateful for the impact he had on my life. 44 forever.

I shared a GMI class and many moments on the baseball field with Hunter, and in every setting he brightened the spirit of those around him with his humor and energy. He could make me laugh so hard, he made me think about concepts from class and baseball more deeply with his questions, and he was the flag bearer for positivity with the teams I joined him on.
