I edited this video of Gabe's life to follow his arc of art, service and love. There were so many wonderful photo/video sources from Gabe himself and his friends as well as our own.

For Beloved's Gabe Birthday... My first Anointing Oil I named Gabriel, in honor of GabeI'd like to share my first story here, link below.  I believe this was shortly after his accident (the neck one) because in the comments he noted that he & his parents finished the cookies in a package I sent him.  I often connected with Gabe in the etheric realms and dream world, and it's interesting now I realize that any important mentor or spiritual teacher in my life... I always introduced Gabe to them.  He was my true Brother, in so many different ways.  On my path of Ordainment, I was initiated into a lineage of Holy Anointing.  Gabe was so supportive and received of course some of my sessions.  It is done for Birth Rites, Death Rites, to activate the light body... essentially it was what Mary Magdalen did for Christ in the famous passage of anointing his feet with Nard (Spikenard) from her Alabaster Jar, it is also believed that it was the anointing of Jesus was also what strengthened his Light Body allowing him to be seen in his Resurrection.  Anyway, we geeked out on all of this quite a bit together and I was deeply honored to work with him after his accident and have an intensely beautiful mutual healing with an anointing I gave him and deep profound spinal and neck openings with the oils, sound and touch.  The oil is Heavenly... and I share the story and ingredients here...  it also includes an image of who I imagine Gabe has evolved into...  Enjoy.  Thank you, always my friend and Muse... Eternal Love, Nadine"Gabriel's Blend" ~  https://www.facebook.com/notes/10164446293030438/

My first Holy Ethereal Anointing Oil

Last night I experienced the best Full Moon rising in my Life. I was gathered with 3 of my Priestess Sisters in the most stunning temple home high in the hills of Sausalito with a near 360 degree view of waters of San Francisco Bay Area... breathtaking!!!

As we shared our lucid dreams the moon began to rise over the hills. We all sat captivated by the ENORMOUS Bright Golden Full VOLUPTUOUS mOOn as it quickly rose into the sky shimmering over the beautiful bay. Stunning full moon rising... we were speechless.

This began our evening of sacred blending with the finest purely diffused organic oils from around the world lovingly distilled by some very special dedicated individuals who put such love and care into the flowers and the whole process. We shared many stories as we blended.

Under the full moon and over a conversation about a beautiful prophetic dream I had had with my dear friend Gabe, and other synchronicities in our relationship, I began my very first own blend. As I was deciding on the name and invoking it with my intentions of opening my "sight" and prophetic dreaming and visions, Ariel (my teacher and true Goddess Incarnate) said to me, "Gabriel" with a smile.... about Gabe. She was having visions of him and "knowings began to come to her" after I had shared a dream with both of them and expressed that I wanted to introduce them. Ah, Gabriel........ and it transformed into a deeper invoking of Archangel Gabriel for me. Yes, Gabriel...

And so it is... the name of my first Holy Ethereal Oil is Gabriel's Blend

Partial Recipe (an Enchantress of Scent never discloses all her Magik! :))

~ Bay Laurel, inhaled by the Oracles at Delphi

~ Frankincense and Myrrh, given to Christ by the 3 Wise Men

~ Sandalwood, Mysterious Essence of the Priestess to deeply warm the heart

~ Elemi, to invoke spiritual vision and insight

~ Cedar Atlas, to ground into the Great Mother

~ Champaka, (Golden Magnolia) precious spiritual flower of India

~ Blue Lotus, sacred flower of the Egyptian Nile, believed to hold the Secrets of the Universe

~ one last precious secret flower to seal it all with a kiss

Blended under the Full Moon with love and intention invoking Archangel Gabriel.

It smells absolutely Divine!!! Infused overnight in the Moonbeams... pure celestial heaven this morning :)

Blessed Be!

When you get sudden insights that give you valuable guidance for the future, Gabriel may be delivering those insights to you, believers say.

"Gabriel, as the Archangel of Communication, often announces what's on the horizon, and acts like a manager or agent in orchestrating new ventures related to one’s soul purpose." Doreen Virtue

"Gabriel aids visions, and can also help you get glimpses of the future." Webster adds: "You can call on Gabriel for help whenever you feel downhearted, need to overcome doubt and fear, or desire guidance, inspiration, intuition, or purification. If you feel trapped, locked in, or are simply in a rut, call on Gabriel to help you change and start moving ahead again ... Gabriel wants you to lead a happy, fulfilled life and will offer guidance and aid whenever you ask for it. If you feel lost and have no idea where you are going in life, ask Gabriel for help. ... If you want to know about the future, ask Gabriel to keep you informed. The gift of prophecy can be yours, if you ask Gabriel to help."

~ Richard Webster, Gabriel: Communicating with the Archangel for Inspiration and Reconciliation

This is a beautiful quote on loss:

The Cure

We think we get over things.

We don’t get over things.

Or say, we get over the measles

but not a broken heart.

We need to make that distinction.

The things that become part of our experience

never become less a part of our experience.

How can I say it?

The way to “get over” a life is to die.

Short of that, you move with it,

let the pain be pain,

not in the hope that it will vanish

but in the faith that it will fit in,

find its place in the shape of things

and be then not any less pain but true to form.

Because anything natural has an inherent shape

and will flow towards it.

And a life is as natural as a leaf.

That’s what we’re looking for:

not the end of a thing but the shape of it.

Wisdom is seeing the shape of your life

without obliterating (getting over) a single

instant of it.

Gabe was one powerful person. He had some choice words for me while going through a difficult time. Those choice words still resonate through my mind and will surely be passed on to my son. Breaks my heart I was never able to say. Thank You!! For the outcome of those powerful words. Truly an inspiration for many!!! Aloooooohaaaaaaa!
Just finished a memoir called "Stay True" by Hua Hsu, a staff writer at The New Yorker about his days at Cal, trying to figure himself out, and the tragic death of a close friend. This passage made me think of Gabe, and how to consider his memory: "The true account would necessarily be joyful, rather than morose, and surrendering to joy wouldn't mean I was abandoning you. A celebration of how it began, rather than a chronicle of free fall, a tribute to that first sip, rather than all the spinning rooms that followed. It would be an account of love and duty, not just anger and hatred, and it would be filled with dreams, and the memory of having once looked to the future, and an eagerness to dream again. It would be boring, because you simply had to be there. It would be poetry and not history."

One year after he’d broken his neck, he was ready to swim in the sea again… a group of us hiked down from ‘Camp Awesome’ to the ocean, Gabe’s cat Rae Rae following us! He swam triumphantly that day,his friends goofing off and havng fun. He is still skinny here, still in recovery, getting stronger. ❤️
