I remember Evan when he was a very little boy running around our National Guard Armory when I was the commander there and Bob and Andrea would bring he and his siblings to the armory for our family events. I am glad to see that went on to serve our country just like his parents did. My heartfelt condolences go out to Bob, Andrea and all of Evan's immediate and extended family.

I am speaking on my behalf of my son ,Andrew Matt who is also stationed in the Army in CO Springs.   If it wasn’t for Evan who talked to him joining i honestly don’t know where my son would be at in his life.   Andrew thought very highly of Evan.   They would hunt, go on the boat together.   Evan inspired and gave Drew the courage and motivation.  They played Lacrosse & football together at DeLaSalle.   Drew talked to him almost every day.   He is lost without his best friend.   I would also like to thank Evan for supporting him.  He is a truly amazing and had a way of inspiring others.    I would like to say “thank you “ for being in my sons life.   My heart breaks for the entire family and DeLaSalle community.   My prayers to all of you.

The world lost some of its brightness with Evan’s passing. So sorry to hear this, prayers of support to his family.

I met Evan through my son Jacob Tousignant during their freshman year together at De La Salle Collegiate.

In a short time Evan & Jacob became friends and through their 4 years together at De La Salle the friendship grew in a brotherhood.  Evan was a true and loyal friend that always protected his brothers & friends from harm.  I will forever be grateful for the friendship and loyalty that Evan gave to my son Jacob Tousignant. We consider Evan family.

Evan  was a key player for the Pilots and that was evident at every football game.  During a De La Salle football game you were guaranteed to consistently  hear "VAILLANCOURT" over the loud speaker because Evan made another rock star play for the Pilots.  The same holds true during La cross games  and there is no doubt that Evan would dominate the  field for a Pilot win!!

To know Evan was to love him and I'm thankful for the time we had with him.  He will forever be in our hearts and sadly, sadly missed  until we see him again.  Rest easy Evan, your gentle soul and loving heart

touched so many and we will always treasure your memory.

Best teammate I’ve ever had. Built an everlasting bond as kids, wish I would’ve reached out to you in the past just to check on you or to fill you in about where life has taken me. Gonna miss you bro ,
