Evan was welcomed back home in true Evan fashion to Michigan from Fort Bragg. He was military escorted by his brother, Josh. Lt Cornwell of the Hamtramck police department proudly lead the police escort with Traffic stops from state police, Roseville, Clinton Township, and Sterling Heights Police.

DLS football team is again in playoffs for a third state championship. Evan was a key player on this team - 2 state championships rings! They dedicating the remainder of season to Evan. The boys have placed Evan initials on all of their helmets. We will be on visitor side. Friday, November 25th Ford field 1pm. All are welcome. No doubt Evan will be on that field!

A visitation is being scheduled for November 29. Time 12pm-8pm. Wujek- Calcaterra in Sterling Heights. We will have a eulogy and tribute to Evan at 7pm.

A mass will be held at St. Lawerence on November 30. 11:30am. Please look up the song Lion by Brandon Lake & Chris Brown Elevation Worship. Evan will be brought into the church to this song.

Calling for all DLS BROTHERS to lead their brother in the church- learn the song. Reach out to Jacob Tousignant amd or Nolan Schults for more details. Message Evans mom or brothers if you need their numbers.

Evan will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery on December 1. Burial time is at 2:30pm. Procession will begin at Wujek- Calcaterra- Time TBA. He will be laid to rest with full military honors.

Few request:

If you are sick or even feel it coming on please wear a mask. Evan has a beloved Uncle that is battling cancer right now that will be there. For privacy we are not sharing his name but those that know Evan know who he is. Please do not hug him; his ribs are fragile.

We would like to ask you to consider in lieu of:

Card….a written moment or memory with Evan you had with him, especially one we may not have known.

Flowers….his son Jason- Diego’s 529 education fund & expenses.
