Personal note from Shaun and Mietka Head

This has been the most trying period of our lives and we are full of gratitude for all the love and support you have shown us during this time. Please continue to keep us lifted in prayer as we move through this chapter. We love you all and are tremendously blessed by your responsiveness and care. We look forward to celebrating Mom/Gram's life with you.

Mietka and I would like to acknowledge Mom's physician, Dr. Ann Rudinger of Loyola University Medical Center. She provided Mom with outstanding care when she returned to Chicago and for the remainder of her life. Dr. Rudinger's wisdom and counsel prepared me for Mom's last stages of life. It comforted my soul and provided me with peace.

Obituary

Eloise Paulette Head was born on September 30, 1931, in Grassy Lake, Arkansas to Tommie and Martha Dickerson. She was the fifth of seven children.

Eloise graduated from J.C. Corbin High School, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas in 1951. Throughout high school she worked as a housekeeper in the evenings.

Eloise moved to Chicago in the 1950s and began work as a waitress. She met Edward Head Jr. and the two were married on August 26, …
