My deepest sympathies to the entire Henry family on the loss of Elihu.

He was a very caring person and I know he will be missed by many.

Were it not for Elihu's mentorship and encouragement, I would not be where I am in my career today.  He knew how to teach and inspire you to new heights.  I will always be grateful.

I pray for you all to find great comfort at this time.

Elihu was a very special and beautiful human being, in every sense. He had a unique way of making  everybody around him feel special and loved.   For me, he has always been a deeply loved mentor when it came to parenting, as he just had this magical way with all the little people around him. Deepest and heartfelt sympathies to dearest Myrna, Heather & Doug, Melanie & Lee, Josh and Kate, Madeleine, Nathalie, Eli, Alexander, Sebastian and Ezra. He will forever be etched in our hearts and we know that his legacy will live on through all of you. Feel our love and heartfelt support across the miles - we so wish we could be with you over this really sad time. We love you very much. Tammy & family

I am so sorry for the tremendous loss of Elihu to the Henry family. On occasion, when I was visiting Melanie, Elihu was a welcoming individual, ready to strike up a conversation to hear and share all of the family updates since we last spoke. His care and attention to those around him are what I think of most in his memory.
My deepest sympathies to Elihu’s family,  may you all find comfort in the memories of him you hold in your hearts.

We were saddened to hear of Eli’s passing.

Our condolences to the whole family.  He will be greatly missed.

Carol and Dave Williams (Pickleball family).

To Elihu's family - it has been a while since we have seen each other but we have only the best memories of Elihu and of the whole family.  Dennis and Brigitte always spoke of him (and of all of you).  My thoughts and those of my family's are with you. So sorry for your loss.

In loving memory of Elihu:

As we collectively remember and share memories on this site, we are reminded of the incredible person Elihu was. His patience, overflowing love, and boundless generosity touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. From his warm smiles to his selfless acts, he left an everlasting impact on our hearts.

In the journey of life, Elihu taught us the power of patience in adversity, the beauty of love in all its forms, and the true meaning of giving without expectation. These qualities have left an imprint on many that time cannot erase.

To Elihu, you will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Your legacy lives on in the stories we share and the lessons you taught us. May we continue to spread the love and kindness you radiated, keeping your spirit alive in all that we do.

With heartfelt remembrance,

Lindsey, Jeremie, and the Taylor family

A typical day at work

Dear Myrna and family, please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Elihu had departed far too soon but left such an indelible mark on all our hearts.

I met Elihu, an established and well-respected healthcare professional at the Wellesley Hospital. He earned the trust of his colleagues and patients due to his intelligence, reliability, and calm demeanour. Elihu's humanity, willingness to share his wisdom, compassion, and kindness truly defined him. These attributes were evident to all staff, especially to students and R.T.s who had to enter the O.R. for their monthly certification quota of intubations and arterial line insertions. The O.R. can be cold and sometimes inhospitable to outsiders, but Elihu was our safe harbour and mentor. I am grateful and forever changed for the better for having known him. He will be greatly missed. The world needs more safe harbours.

He was an excellent person, a bright light to be around. Very sad to hear of his passing.
Our condolences to Myrna-Joy and family on such a huge loss.  We remember Elihu as a loving son-in-law to Sam and Ruth.  Such memories of compassion and caring are ongoing blessings.
I didn’t know Elihu well but I was always impressed by his genuine concern for others. His passing is an enormous loss for his family, community and those who had the pleasure to work with him, as I occasionally was able to do through our mutual experiences at BlueZone. I am very sorry to hear of this tragic event.

As we worked together for so many years at sunnybrook, tensions often ran high but Elihu never “lost his cool”. As leader of the OR respiratory team, he was both protective of his colleagues but also pragmatic in solving the many issues on a daily basis. A brave man when enduring a previous illness, what a welcome sight it was when he returned to work. A thorough gentleman. My condolences to the family
Heartfelt sympathy to Myrna-Joy, Heather, Melanie, & Joshua on the loss of your loved one.
I will always remember the kindness shown by Elihu & your Family.

I was heartbroken for Mrs. Henry, Melanie, Heather and Josh and their families when I heard the news of Mr. Henry’s passing. I knew him since I was a young kid in Sunday School with Melanie and Heather. Mr. Henry was a fine example of what a dad should be. He was always smiling, positive and patient when we were kids as he carpooled many of us around town between home and church activities, he also held Sunday School classes and youth group when we teens. Anyone could see how much he truly loved his family and his time with them. Mr. Henry will be missed by so many and always remembered in the very best way.
Such a good neighbour and friend. We will miss him.
My friendship with Elihu is recent.  On Friday mornings at the Trinity Church we would meet with others to play pickleball.   For newbies to the sport Elihu was the teacher who knew the rules and the coach who patiently repeated, "Serve and stay."   When I shared that the Rev. Robin Wardlaw was returning to Trinity for the annual service sponsored by the A.O.T.S. Men's Club (As One That Serves), Elihu was present for the June 4 worship.   On another occasion we talked about Elihu's participation in the Search Committee for the Second Minister's position which had become, at that particular time, a rewarding  task for Elihu.  Our friendship was just beginning, and I will miss his welcoming spirit in so many ways.  Sincerely, faith in believing, the Rev. Ross Carson
My most deepest condolences to Myrna and family. Wishing you all courage and strength during this most difficult time.
