A man for whom curiosity was only outshaddowed by his anger toward morons in office, Dr. Ray was a formidable economist. He despised my pronunciation of economist, (EKKO-nom-ist), and for the rest of my natural born life that is how I will say it, which has and doubtless will forever more always bring his image to mind.  Him, sitting squinting at his ipad in a chair, doubtless on some article about how the world is going to gloom and doom, is how I forever picture those working for the dismal science.

We wish we could be there with you all. Sending love ❤️

Wish we could be there. Sending all our love from Australia. Xxxx
My deepest love & sympathy to David, Annabel and Cathay. Big Dave always treated us kid like we were grownups, it was a gift. He will be missed. Xo, julie

So, so sorry, Cathay, Annabel and David.

I remember Davey and Naomi coming to Brooklyn before the rest of the family. Ronnie (Rothman) to the three of us to Yankee Stadium to a game.

I spent my 17th birthday in Endwell and Davey taught me the bass riff from  “Satisfaction.”
