Background
As a family, we Raboys are reeling from the aching, surreal truth that we won't again hear Big Dave's laugh or smooch him goodnight as he reads in his chair at night.
None of us more than our mother – who must now struggle to rise to a frank financial reality that before only ever seemed surmountable with her partner by her side. Thus it is towards that strange and heavy burden that we turn to Big Dave's family and friends at large for support.
If you feel so compelled to contribute, know that it will go only towards that which Big Dave would like to have seen through – the reconciliation of the mortgage and spending debts, the unpredictable costs of our family's storied medical history... and maybe, just maybe, towards a ~very~ tasteful obituary in the Post, which Big Dave read daily since the day he rode into town back in the 70s.
Again, please only give if you are able – and know that no matter what you can share, we are grateful to you with the entirety of our being.
