Daniel was about 8 or 9 years old when our families first met. I remember one particular play date at the Wilmoth house where Daniel was telling me about swimming laps. I told him that sounded really hard, and he replied "it's hard, but so satisfying." His response made me chuckle. Even at that age, it was obvious he thrived in difficult situations and loved hard work. We were fortunate to run into him again at a graduation party a few years ago, and he was still the same driven, motivated and kind kid I remembered. He lit up as he told me and my husband about his new endeavors with the guard and flying. We were so impressed by him. We are heartbroken with you and grieve the loss of such an amazing young adult. We're praying for you all.

Daniel and our family went to church together when the Wilmoths started up Front Range Calvary. I remember the youth group was made up of about 6-8 of us and the memories are so beautiful and fun. I got pretty close to Daniel during those years and have always admired the person he was, he was whity and outgoing, so generous and unbelievably knowledgeable, he was so full of love and made such an impact everywhere he went. You will be missed Daniel and your very very loved! Never Ever Forgotten!! Love you friend <3

I’ll never forget the day Daniel was born. I had just come from a nearby hospital to say goodbye to my grandpa who had just passed away minutes prior. The emotions were everywhere for me, but then I saw my beautiful nephew. He gave me hope for the future. Daniel brought such joy and laughter to me, his family, and many friends. I love you Daniel and always will. I can’t wait to hug you once again.

I will miss Dan greatly. He was such a light in my life and in everyone else’s. He was always a joy to be around and was someone you could depend on. I know he is heaven with Jesus though. He was always sweet to me like a little sister andy told me he was proud of me often. He will be greatly missed.
