I went through basic training with Dan, or Moth as we knew him by. Always positive. Always looking to crack a joke to get the flight motivated on a down date. We grew up almost twenty minutes from each other but it was the military that brought us together. Rest in Peach Moth. We’ll miss you buddy.
I went to school with Dan and got to know him as both a student and prospective flight instructor. What a great human being he was. Despite the hurdles put in front of him he was always kind, and a joy to talk to. Even let me use his $1000 headset one time without a second thought, because that’s the kind of person he was. His future was incredibly bright and I will indeed miss seeing his always cheerful face when I went flying. Gone way too soon, RIP Dan.
My deepest condolences to all of his family ! I was unable to attend the services but my husband Esteban attended ! I keep all of his family in my prayers !
I am so sorry for the loss of Daniel. He seems to have been an amazing soul, son and man, and he seemed to have a loving impact on many. My hearts and prayers are with your family and friends. Jennifer Hicks
I'm so sorry for the loss of Dan. I pray, especially today, that the incredible 24 years you had the gift of Dan in your lives created the most wonderful memories that you can cherish and help you get through this difficult time. I hope that all the great laughs, fun times and experiences together will bring smiles to your faces and warmth to your hearts, and I pray that they also bring you peace and comfort.
I was in flight training at Aspen for about a year and knew Daniel the time I was there, and I keep in touch with many people there. (I'm now a comml pilot and CFI in AZ) He was the same age as my granddaughters, so I looked at him as a "kid", but what a great one. Always loved joking and hugging him, God Bless. Paul
