Dana was a great friend !!! My heartfelt condolences go out to his family. I loved interacting with Dana on a variety of community-related activities - especially with the Compton Toastmasters !!! He was a GREAT orator !!!

I'm so sorry for the loss of Dana. I'll always think of him whenever I attend a District 62 Toastmaster Conference.  Dana was one of our Keynote speakers who touched many lives that weekend.  My sincerest condolences to his family.  RIP Dana.     Sending sympathies from me and everyone here in Toastmasters District  62 - Michigan.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Dana’s passing. He enriched my life and the PSWD of Optimist International. My condolences to his family.  He made the world a better place.
I met Dana at Optimists. What an amazing man.  His accomplishment were wonderful and made the world a better place.
I want to express my sympathy to the LaMon family and their friends. Dana was a caring, generous, and supportive Toastmaster. On October 14, 2010, as the first female African American president, I welcomed Dana to the Westchester Advanced Club. Dana showed up and showed out. Although, the historical event was marred by inclement weather, our club's attendance surpassed previous records, which shocked me. Most significantly, "we" collaborated to ensure Dana Lamon's visit was both successful and memorable. His visit gave me confidence in my abilities as a leader and communicator. He will be missed!
My condolences to Dana's family. I first met Dana when he presented at district 39’s conference and I assisted him at his book table. Later, we shared a meal and he entertained us with stories and jokes. He will be missed not only for his communication skills that he shared, but his attitude of loving life and the people he met.
