I am so sorry for your loss! Dagmar was a FORCE! We met early on when she came to ECU, were colleagues and then became friends as we both fought cancer. I was diagnosed a few months earlier, but we supported each other through treatment, testing, more testing and waiting! We both headed to MDA as we did all we could to fight! The last time we met for dinner, it was impossible to believe that her cancer had returned- she looked fantastic and had the most awesome outlook!
My sincere condolences on the loss of Dagmar. I was deeply saddened by the news of her passing. She was a fierce defender of the people she loved—both professionally and personally—and she truly had a heart of gold. Please know that you and her entire family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
I have such fond memories of Dagmar in the S.S. class - how friendly & positive she was about life even after discovering she had cancer. We communicated by email after I moved to MO near my daughter following the death of my husband. Dagmar was an inspiration to many with a beautiful smile & strong faith. I was blessed to have known her.
Your steps have fallen silent, but the traces of your life remain forever. Dear Aunt Dagmar, in Munich we met you for the very last time. We will never forget that day. With loving memories, we say goodbye to our sister-in-law and aunt. Margarete, Marco and family, Alexandra and family, Annette and family
