Dear Albano family- I cannot tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I am in Chris’s Tai Chi group, and we have all missed him a lot since things made it hard for him to rejoin us. Chris always made me laugh, and he was so irreverent! His energy really helped make us a group beyond just doing tai chi. He spoke often of you, Andree, saying we had to meet you. I hope we will one of these days. You have my deep condolences. Kathleen

My condolences to Chris's family. I first met Chris several years ago when he enrolled in a taichi class at Flagler College in Saint Augustine. He was a very dedicated student who practiced what he was taught and would ask questions about the form that most students wouldn't begin to even realize were possible until many years of practice had passed. I was fortunate to have such a student who became a friend.
We spent Friday mornings at Anastasia State Park practicing the postures that were designed to strengthen and rebuild your body after an illness. Soon he was riding his bicycle to my house three days a week to practice with the group of serious students.
He would go to Montreal during the summer and keep in touch with me asking questions regarding the form and sending photos of places that he would do his taichi rounds in the morning. One of his favorite places was on top of the mountain over looking the beautiful city.
I will miss Chris and know it was my good fortune that our paths crossed and we walked together, even if it was for a short time.

Whether it was on the slopes, attending a concert, at the beach, or around the table, Chris will always be remembered as a lovely and groovy guy.
