Andree and family, we’re very very sorry for your loss! I have no words to describe how much.
I met Chris the first time 2018 in India on a business trip where business leaders and principal architects from all regions came together for a workshop. I would never have imagined how much my life would change thanks to Chris. He brought me onto his team and the same year I relocated to the US. From then on we worked together and he quickly turned from being my manager to also being my mentor and friend.
He always had my back, and he pushed me to see beyond the “now” and “today”, to think about the tomorrow and to find balance beyond work, as he did, something that I was struggling with.
He was open, honest, approachable, and caring for others. He always had a smile on his face for our 1:1 meetings. Chris obviously loved the nature and often sent pictures from incredibly wonderful and tranquil places he visited, especially with his family. He loved hiking, the beach, the ocean, the music and that he had started with Tai Chi.
Enjoying life and taking risks, that is also something he often emphasized. And of course not to waste precious life time. He exercised that even when traveling. If possible being first in line when boarding, never traveling with checked bags to not to have to wait for it, appearing to meetings rather too early than too late. He hated to be too late.
Thanks for having taken the time to be part of our vows’ renewal in Colombia! We’ll be forever grateful and keeping dear memories of the short time in life that we had the privilege to meet and share with Chris.
Our deepest condolences
Juliana and Antje

Chers Andrée, Aurelle et Nico,
I first heard of Chris when Andrée and he encountered each other in a Montreal restaurant while he was on a business trip. Sparks must have flown because when we next spoke, the first thing Andrée proclaimed was, “I am going to marry that man!” I am sure that Chris repeated the same words to a family member or friend. Sure enough, it was “un coup de foudre” as a fairy tale wedding soon followed at the beautiful old church in Place Royal, surrounded by family and dear friends.
I witnessed how much Chris dearly loved his family and how very important they were to him on visits to Boston, Florida and our cottage. It was so apparent that Chris was a caring, loving and truly devoted husband and father. Chris adored Andrée. She was the love of his life. He cherished Aurelle and Nico who were a source of such great joy to him. He was also so very proud of his children. Everyone loved Chris, but no one loved him more than Andrée, Aurelle and Nico. All know how much he was dearly loved by you.
Chris was truly an amazing human being with a heart of gold. I remember him as a kind, warm, gentle, and extremely courageous person. I especially like to recall the twinkle in his eye and the smile on his kind face. I can hear his quiet laugh. I am so grateful that I recently spent time with Chris in the Florida home. As always, he was extremely hospitable, generous and lots of fun. Chris had that ‘joie de vivre.”
I am so deeply sorry that you will miss your beloved Chris. I try to remember that those we love never go away. They walk beside us every day missed, but have left wonderful, happy memories to help ease our sadness and lead us through.
May you treasure those memories and Chris’s love forever.
My love and thoughts are with you,
Sylvia

Chris and I were just four days apart in age and grew up two doors apart. He and his cousin Mike ( just two doors apart as well ) and I caught a ride to Colorado and traveled through the state back in high school and shared many “adventures “ in Connecticut as well. We both started playing music at the same time and often jammed with older brother Mark. I moved to Montana shortly after graduation and only connected with Chris on one occasion after that but have held on to many great memories. My heart felt condolences to his family and friends

I’m in shock, and so sorry to all the family. His mom and a few of us use to call him Peter Pan. He was the baby of the “Berluti” cousins and not expected to be first to leave for sure. It is so nice to see what a full life he lived.

To my godmother and my two wonderful cousins, I send you my deepest sympathies for the loss of Christopher. The memories I have with him — from Cape Cod and visits to Boston, to the ski slopes in Stoneham and Le Massif, to family jam nights — are ones I will always cherish. J'appréciais énormément la présence de Chris, et il va tous nous manquer énormement. I will always admire his musical talent, which inspired me so much.
Je pense à vous tous les jours, ma famille adorée, and Chris will always remain in our hearts.
Je vous aime.
Audrey, niece of Andrée and Chris.

My deepest condolences to Andrée,Aurelle, Nico and the Albano family. You are in our thoughts during this difficult time. Christopher was such a wonderful person, a loving husband, a caring father and a talented musician. We had so much fun with him at the parties family in Québec and during Christmas gathering in Stoneham and in Charlevoix. I’ll never forget how he would play the guitar or piano and bring so much joy to everyone. Chris truly loved being with family. We will always remember his smile, his kindness and the happiness he share with us . He will be deeply missed.
Christiane Vezina , sister of Andrée.
