Mr. Brooke, Mr. Bertholet, passed away on February 02, 2025.

The most important thing he would like everyone remember about him is that he was a teacher of a deep kind heart and compassion for his students. He has taken generations of students on the wings of his belief that all children could do critical thinking, expand their horizons and love math, with lots of intelligent and creative activities that could engage children and made them feel successful. His engaging lesson plans were only a part of the man who understood deeply the importance of supporting children emotionally and intellectually. A man of tremendous will power, overcame many daily health issues to dedicate his whole heart to his community of students. His other love was his family. We miss his brilliance and his depth.
