Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Brooke. He was a good friend, always full of positive energy and a huge smile. Brooke was also a teacher to our son Raúl, who remembers him fondly. We will never forget the many moments we shared with him.
My sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Bertholet. Isabella loved Mr. Brooke. He was her favorite teacher. A man with a big heart and humble sprit, yet very talented and dedicated to the teaching profession and always placed children in the center of his profession. I hope the family finds strength to overcome this irreplaceable loss and find peace in all the wonderful memories that Mr. Brooke left.
His legacy will undoubtedly live on through the countless lives he touched and the immeasurable impact he had on his students. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him. In this time of sorrow, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Alina loved Mr. Bertholet’s class and being a part of the mathletes created a spark in her. He was so generous with his time and dedicated Tuesday mornings before classes started to spend with Sasha. So patient with the kids and he drew the connection from math to real life with passionate teachings. This is a big loss for the Metaphor community. The Enright Family sends our deepest condolences to the Bertholet Family.
When I consulted with Brooke last month, he said he was delighted with our child and that Sofia showed aptitude in Math. This was reflected in her CogAT scores so certainly he had something to do with that success. He certainly made a positive impression on my daughter.
Our daughter, Sofya, was Mr. Brooke's student these last two years. Thanks to his passion for math and ability to meet young students at their level, math became one of her favorite subjects and Mr. Brooke one of her favorite teachers. He was patient, kind, and generous and made a very big impact on our daughter. He will undoubtedly become for her one of those teachers about whom she thinks and appreciates far into the future. We are grateful that he was her teacher, especially at such a formative time in her life, and cannot imagine the school without him. We send our deepest condolences to his family and are so very sorry for your loss.
