Britton's obituary

Britton Lee Orsini (38) passed away on December 2nd, 2024 in Smyrna, GA.  He is survived, first and foremost, by Sophia Orsini (9), his daughter whom he loved dearly.  He is also survived by his mother Donna Lantz and his siblings: Shannon Lantz, Patrick Lantz, Mario Orsini, Nick Orsini, and Valeria Orsini.

There is no one way to describe Britton.  If you knew him, then you knew your relationship was singular and special.  Everyone described Britton as having a huge heart, and he earned that repuation over and over again.  If you needed help with anything, he would stop what he was doing and give what he had.  He embodied the adage: "give you the shirt off of his own back."  He was always there for his friends and family.

Now, it may have been easier for Britton to offer his shirt since he seldom found himself wearing a shirt...

He was an avid outdoorsman and thrill seeker.  On any given day, you could find him fully-throttled, ripping through the lake on a jet ski.  If you looked to the sky at any given time, you might see him parachuting in after one of his many skydiving trips.  You might've seen him jumping all day and night at music concerts with his brothers.  He may have sent you pictures of himself standing on I-beams 100s of feet in the air building sports stadiums around the country.  He loved zip lining, whitewater rafting, motorcycles, and anything else that could move his adrenaline from 0 to 100.  He was a powerful force who saught to take on the best that life had to offer.

He ended up finding the best when he became a father to Sophia Orsini.  She is his greatest pride and joy.

There is no question Britton is one of the greatest fathers any of his family and friends have witnessed.  His love and care for Sophia is second to none.  They have a bond that can't be captured in words, but we see it in photos and videos of Britton every time he escorted Sophia to a daddy-daughter dance,  every time they rolled on the ground wrestling and giggling, and every time he sat with her for hours working on her letters and numbers.  He was a remarkable father and the blueprint from which his siblings try to raise and care for their own children.

Britton's loss is truly devastating to his family and friends.  As we make plans with Sophia's mother to make sure Sophia has as much love and care as she could ever want, we ask that you pray Britton is resting in peace with God in heaven.
