Audrey was a very important force in my life.  She would listen, non-judgmentally to my problems.  Even my kids understood what a prayer warier Audrey was.  I remember one of my daughters, when she had big problems, also ask me to ask Audrey to pray for her.

Visiting Frank and Audrey April '22 was a huge blessing.  They lived out what a godly marriage looks like, and continue to be a huge example for us.  They always had their focus on Jesus, but I that visit, their eagerness to enter into eternity with their Lord was evident.

It makes me very happy to think of Audrey finally being in heaven, seeing God.  What a blessing for her to be reunited with Frank so quickly.

I loved Audrey very much, and will miss her, but I am happy for her.

You will be miss Audrey.

I will miss seeing you teasing Frank.

I will miss seeing you eating cookies and telling stories about hoe you met Frank but must of all I will miss hearing you play the piano.

We know you are in heaven and God is now enjoying your playing from the first row:)

Ginia,

We are here for you. You might had lost your parents but you can lean on the rest of your family who loves you.

Ginia,

I did not have the chance to know your mom for that long, but by knowing you, I know she was a great mother, and a great lovely person.

We will see her later in the great mansions God is preparing us.

"In my father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."

Audrey was the first to call and greet me and my family when we first started to attend Bethlehem Church.  She attended all women’s events and always contributed. She also gave me valuable sewing tips and I admired all her sewing talent. Praise the Lord for all the mentoring she and Frank provided to so many and rejoicing that they are together once again

Aunt Audrey continually told me how cute uncle Frank was (he would roll his eyes). They shared with me their love story. Aunt Audrey compassionately listened to some of the struggles I’ve had over the years and offered to pray. I was privileged to be able to spend time sitting by Aunt Audrey‘s bedside after uncle Frank’s passing and in her final days. She told me how she longed to be with him, just days before she joined him in the presence of Christ.

When I drink from the beautiful blue china tea cup that once belonged to my Aunt, I will remember her beautiful smile, our shared love for tea and her sweet tooth (a shared love for cookies)

A visit while Rachel (Stahr) …
A visit while Rachel (Stahr) Maletich and Ruth (Stahr) Macpherson were in town
I knew Audrey just a short time when I was able to visit with her  here in the neighborhood. Despite her memory loss, she was unfailingly sweet, and I enjoyed listening to her stories about her dolls, her family, and her strong faith. One memory she shared every time we visited was about how totally blessed and lucky she felt to have her handsome and devoted Frank as the love of her life. I can picture them together again "on the other side". She was a lovely and gentle gift to humanity.

Ginia & Simeon,

Your mom was so special, and a truly wonderful woman. We were so sorry to hear of her passing. Our hearts are with you knowing you have lost both parents in such a short time. I met her only a few times, but I remember her friendliness, kindness, and her love for you. No one can ever replace her, but we’re here if you need us.

Love, Kari & Dan Smith

Sending our sincere sympathy to you Ginnia and family. Audrey was my friend at Bethlehem Church. She new the challenges I faced and called me every other week to pray with me and encourage me in so many ways. She always wanted her and Frank  to go together. What a wonderful testimony on true love and commitment. I loved your parents .

Ginia,  Your mom and I were very good friends for many years. She lived right up the street and we both were members of Bethlehem Church.  It was there, in the Ladies Room, that we met and discovered we were neighbors. That was just the beginning of a wonderful friendship. She was a friend whom I could trust sharing the many difficulties in my life.  We had both lost little ones and shared that grief.  In reading all she accomplished in her life, I    realized there was so much she never told me. Her family was most important to her; I heard your name many times, Ginia.   She loves you very much and talked about, thought about, and prayed for you consistently during her lifetime. There is so much I could say about my dear friend.   I’m so happy she is filled with joy now, in Heaven with her Savior, her little girl, and her dear husband, Frank. They both made a huge impact on my life for which I will always be thankful.   I will miss her.

What a pleasure to have spent time with dear Audrey.  I met her at Bethlehem Church over 10 years ago and got to know her a bit better through Ellen Puttbach.  We ended up meeting in person or chatting on the phone every couple weeks for a few years and I was deeply blessed by her love of her family, Scripture , and Jesus!  She was such a warm, inviting,  loving lady who was like the sweet breath of God in my life!! I loved hearing her stories!

I'm so glad she is at home and whole with dear Frank and our Lord! Praying for her family, whom she adored! May God bring His comfort, peace and the joyful anticipation of permanent reunion yet to come!!

I have fond memories of Aunt Audrey! She put up with me coming to visit for a month and even took us to NYC. An even earlier memory is the yummy peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on brown bread. I surprised her by how many I ate! I know she will be missed greatly.

When I think of your mom, Ginia, the words that come to mind are faithfulness and devotion.  She was faithful in her love for God, your dad, and  your family.  And she was a woman of prayer!  But mostly I remember the warmth of her welcome when we came home, and how much I enjoyed talking with her, catching up on life.  As my mom's Alzheimer progressed, your mom always asked about my parents and made me feel supported and cared for.  I'm grateful for her impact on my life!

Every Thursday Audrey and I would get together for mocha lattes and prayer.  It was an absolute joy to spend an hour or two together talking about those who meant so much to us and lifting their needs up in prayer.  What struck me during those mornings together was how fiercely Audrey loved her children and grandchildren. She was always 100% FOR them and she would confidently asked God for anything she thought they needed. Not only did those times of prayer help me understand how much Audrey loved her family, they also taught me how much she trusted God and how confident she was that HE would supply their every need.

Audrey was a brilliant woman with a wide range of interests, yet she did her best to hide that from most people.  Every now and then she would share about another interest or accomplishment, such as, "did I ever tell you that I memorized most of the new testament?" or "did you know that I got into Julliard, but decided not to go?"

She loved beautiful clothes, always wore a matched set of jewelry and was fussy about who did her hair.  She was the definition of a lady on the outside and a truly beautiful person on the inside.

I will miss her so, so much, but I am also incredibly happy that she and Frank are together again.

Ginia, Simeon and family,  It was such a pleasure to know your Mom, Audrey. She made a big impact on me from the first day I met her. She always asked me questions, gave me compliments and made me feel important. Audrey and Frank’s love for each other was also a blessing and I thought of them many times when I needed an example to think about. I will miss Audrey so much but I am happy that she is with Jesus and her Frank.
