Our family witnessed a man full of energy, was very welcoming and gracious, musically gifted, and was knowledgeable and passionate of his life long devotion to the science of medicine but most of all loved and was most proud of his family and wife. We will truly cherish the moments spent with Tita Alice and Tito Armand and will continuously pray for the whole Dijamco family in this very difficult time. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 May he rest in peace.
Sincere condolences to all the family. I was a nurse on 4W at St Joseph's, then at Perimeter Dialysis & Dr DiJamco was wonderful to work with. I carried one of his phrases with me & used it often, "He looks good on paper, but, he doesn't pass the look test". Ar dheis De go raibh a Anam ( He sits at the right hand of God)
Our deepest condolences to Alice and her family to Ando's repose.
May his soul RIP !!!

I was a patient of Dr. Armando and I also worked with Dr. Alice in surgery. They were like second parents to us as we got acclimated to this new country. My dad got sick in the Philippines within weeks of our move here. One evening at work, I was summoned to the OR front desk. I found Dr. Armando with a big box full of dialysers and cans of nutrition shakes that he collected from his patients who did not need them anymore. The box was for my dad. Years later he became my doctor as I battled Lupus. He single-handedly guided me from being on the brink of dialysis to being medication-free. He was an amazingly talented physician and we are very grateful for being the recipient of their generosity and friendship.

Like everyone else , Minda and I were in utter shock to learn of Ando’s sudden untimely death . Having last seen him in our 50th Golden Anniversary of our UST Med School Graduation, He was to me the same Ando , absolute picture of health telling us his jokes as he paced up and down in those busses at Dagupan , Dubai n AbuDhabi ! Little did we all know that a year later , 2021 he would be gone , returning to his Maker as we all would in the near future, someday !
I last spoke with Ando about 6 weeks or so ago when he encouraged me to continue doing the Intermittent Fasting to “reset my body “ by Autophagy ! You may know by now the Arlene, Jojo, and Alice has been also very instrumental in me leading a healthier Lifestyle , fasting from 16-18 to even 20 hours a day n in the process losing 50 lbs !
I will always remember Ando , Alice, Arlene n Jojo and the Dijamco Family !

I have always remember with fondness This newly wedded Couple Ando n Alice having us as guests at their Baltimore
Apt ( Nieves, Mike, Mila, Roy, Mon, Evelyn G. Abola )
I did notice Ando disappearing from our presence and only returning with about 3 to 4 dozens huge Maryland Blue Crabs which we then devoured and enjoyed thoroughly ! We did go with Ando n Alice to the beautiful Longwood Garden which even now remains one of my most favorite Gardens !

Rest in the Peace of Christ , Ando !
You will be missed !
Ando gave the Valedictory address that evening we graduated from medical school.
This is what I remembered, his
recognition of those he refers to
as those in the “background “, those who supported us through a long arduous task of study that culminated in our graduation.
Those were our parents, relatives, teachers and friends some of them were there. It was a poignant moment, how true it
was that I or some of us might
have remembered that evening.
Our condolences ,our thoughts and prayers for Alice and her family.

Dear Tita Alice and family,
We were heartbroken when we read Arlene's post about Tito Armand's passing. Our deepest condolences. Our hearts go out to you and the rest of the family and will continue to keep him and all of you in our prayers during this most difficult time. We will always fondly remember him and his always smiling face, with equally twinkling eyes, as he animatedly tells us funny stories of your adventures, many times, to the point of tears, from laughing. We will miss him. Love, Sonny, Monica and Michaela
