Oh what sad news, DJ. Our heartfelt prayers go out to the entire family. You always had such an optimistic perspective on life. Your positive attitude was infectious. We pray that your journey is smooth. We each send love in loads to you. This is super tough for us. You were definitely an Angel amongst us.  Till we meet again....

I was so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. He was such a genuine and kind person. I will miss him .  I am still struggling and can’t believe he has left us.

I thought long & hard about whether or not to share this experience. It's very personal & for me, it was very clear & succinct. And I was insecure about sharing it. So I went within ... and I asked. And I got that I shouldn't keep it to myself. That if there is a possibility that someone else might be able to connect & appreciate, this is reason enough to share. In that moment & NOW, as I listen to these songs & I experience again, that which was meant for me to hear, I feel his presence and it brings me joy & healing and love & gratitude. So, I'm sharing that with you.

That said, additionally, I realize that this is not everyone's taste in music... But SOUL always KNOWS how to get through and he knew that I would love this music. And I would hear him. ❤️  And I am SO Grateful. I consider these his last words to me, as in one of the last texts I received from him, which were....... We all have to find a way to be at peace and accept that your time came much more sooner than we would have liked.

It really saddened me to know that I can never pick up the phone to check on you. 

As much as I would have wished that you didn’t checkout this soon,  I have to accept that the pain was no longer easy to bear and that God always knows best (since he always gets the last word).
