You are never far from my thoughts, my friend.  I remember you & your gift of support, friendship & guidance everyday (literally.  I have one of your quotes on my daily reminder :-) ).  Miss you terribly.  Sense your presence sometimes & while I wish I could talk to you like we used to, I hear you when you whisper. Just so you know.   You are in a better place than we are on this rock, tho.  Living out the karma we have to balance.  Going to WorldWide next week.  Last time I was there, you were also there.  You will be in my ❤️ as we experience these changes.  Barak A Bashad, my Friend.  May the blessings BE. LOVE ❤️ & Peace ✌️ Always 🙏.

Egbon mi tooo sure, miss you dia ...... love you forever

My condolences to Uncle Adewale's family. While I never met him, my late dad used to tell us stories about them growing up. May his soul continue to rest in peace.

@ Plain guy,  My Better Connect_ my men,, A Brother.. Egbon 4 real

I love you... so so much!!!

You are such an inspiration.

I would remember and let yesterday be bygone, rather focus on love.

Love is stronger and long lasting than power.

Love Endures..

Broda mi , thank for this words...

We lost connection for almost 2 decades but while we reconnected 2012,  you remained consistent, loving, giving,  true and an original Ojabowale.

You restored the appropriate orders, your communications with my mum and uncle stabilised the family, everyone maintained their lane.

I have been hitted by your departure, however I hold you in my heart 💕 forever.” you held me in your arms for a little while and I'd wish to embrace you again but death hasn't permitted this, but soon someday I hope would embrace your daughter and my soul would be comforted.

It is so so hard to say goodbye Egbon,

Rest in the Lord my Brother...🙏

I love you

My heart goes out to you Lola and family. Dave was too young!  My goodness!  Dave always had a smile and a friendly greeting. He had a joyful life, a caring life. I enjoyed talking to him at Jacob's and Bola’s house at a party they gave several years back.  Best wishes for Dave as he works with the Mahanta in this next part of his journey.  Dave, I know u are very proud of Lola and her accomplishments. Parents are key in giving kids the love and encouragement they need.  You can tell she has been given great guidance throughout her life.  May that continue for Lola, in her dreams and while working on challenges in her present life.  All the best. Bernie and I send our love. 💕

Baraka Bashad,

Kathy & Bernie Kitts

My condolences to Dave's family.  My wife and I were fortunate to be among the first set of people that DJ and his wife (Mary Helen) and daughter (Lola) met when they moved to the U.S. in 1994. Our families just clicked as if we had known each other long before. In fact, they stayed with us for several months before securing another accommodation. We had a wonderful time together learning about life in England and also about ECK activities over there. Lola was a baby then and we had the opportunity to watch her grow alongside our three children. We fondly called her Lolibabe. Before long, DJ and Mary Helen settled nicely in Northern Virginia and we visited each other very frequently. Our Spiritual Path was an added factor that brought us together quite often. We all served at ECK events and shared the joy of ECK gatherings. DJ used his skills as a Realtor to help as many people as possible. He was there to help me do a refinance several times. I can never forget such great help from a dear friend. He made sure that we spent Thanksgiving together every year except maybe a couple of years when he needed to be somewhere else. And my wife always cooked a separate dish for him because he was allergic to seafood. We got a big laugh over that because it allowed me to eat more of the other dishes on the table! Yes, we were that close.

In addition to serving at ECK seminars and other ECK events, DJ loved to lead HU Sings, book discussions, Satsang Classes, and officiate at the Light and Sound Service. He was passionate about the Mahanta and the ECK teachings. He never got tired of holding a conversation on anything ECK (Holy Spirit). He was a true devotee. His service to God and people made his life a rich one. I’m so honored and proud to be his friend.

Thank you DJ for your love and friendship. You will be deeply missed.

Uncle Dave: we love you so much. You were such a bright light in this world. Thank you for all the love and guidance you provided to our family. I don’t know what we would have done without you. I know your Spirit was needed in the higher realms and your mission on Earth and in our lives was complete. Your legacy will live on through us and all the lessons you taught us, we will carry close to our hearts.
Fondly known as Uncle Dave by Odun, Ade, Deola and myself, Dave’s upbeat attitude and smile brought a smile or laughter to cheers us up whenever we saw him either at ECK seminars or during visit to Maryland/Virginia area.  These fun memories as well as countless others  forever remain with us. He will be missed. MTBB.
