Farewell, Zlatko

It’s hard to find words to truly capture the essence of a person as remarkable as you. For over 20 years, I had the privilege of knowing you — a kind, generous soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Your warmth and laughter made every moment brighter, and your presence was a gift to everyone lucky enough to know you.

Though I will deeply miss the times we shared, I find comfort in believing you are now in a better place, where your spirit continues to bring joy and laughter to all around you. I am certain you are waiting for us, smiling and making everyone laugh, just as you always did here.

Thank you for being a wonderful friend, a source of inspiration, and a beautiful person inside and out. Rest in peace, Zlatko. Until we meet again.

It’s incredibly hard to find the words to say goodbye to someone who has been such a constant inspiration in your life, both personally and professionally. I’m deeply saddened by the loss of my longtime colleague, mentor, and dear friend, Zlatko.

For over 25 years, we worked side by side—across three companies, countless projects, and more memories than I can count. Zlatko wasn’t just a coworker or boss; he was a true friend. A steady source of wisdom, encouragement, and humor, he had a remarkable way of bringing out the best in everyone around him.

He taught me what it means to lead with integrity, to listen with empathy, and to always respect one another—no matter the challenge. 

Zlatko’s legacy lives on not only in the work he accomplished, but in the countless lives he touched with his kindness, loyalty, and generosity of spirit. During the loss of my daughter he was one of the greatest supporting friends at work.

I’ll deeply miss our conversations, his guidance, his laugh—and above all, his presence.

May God bless Bozena, his daughters, his family and friends during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Zlatko.
