Nikki will never be forgotten - I feel so blessed to have been able to call her a friend . She created ripples that will never end. ❤️ I wish I could have been in Utah for her memorial service. She is in my heart ❤️ as are her family . God bless.

Utah to Washington, DC Impact and Encouragement of Nikki
I’ll always remember Nikki for how warm and welcoming she was. At the time, I was going through a difficult period professionally, and some friends from the community invited me to a Tech Mondays meeting. That’s where I met Nikki, as she spoke alongside a few others who are still dear friends to this day.
Nikki had a presence about her kind, approachable, and genuine. I even told her we should grab tea or brunch sometime, and we actually did. During that time, I opened up and shared my personal story with her. She gave me space and just listenedexactly when I needed it most. Nikki always told me how proud she was of me, simply for being myself and for seeking justice. Her encouragement meant everything.
That encouragement carried me all the way to the White House, where I shared my story to help push for progress for all women. It marked the beginning of my journey into political activism. I was no longer afraid because Nikki reminded me of the power of community and how to harness that power for good.
I know she would have been proud to see me share the stage with Senator Bernie Sanders in Washington, D.C., at the NDWA conference in late spring 2025. I couldn't wait to tell her but I didn’t get the chance. Still, I know in my heart she would have said, “I’m proud of you and never forget how special you are.”
She was truly full of light, and she gave that light to others.

Nikki is the only person I ever considered a mentor - I first met her while in school and she inspired me to believe in my own ability to create something beautiful in my career and life. Even after a few years, when I reached out about job crises, she was 100% ready and willing to help me, even though we’d only met a couple times and talked briefly. She makes me feel like I belong in the PR world and like I have something great to contribute. To me, her superpower will always be making people feel that they belong and they are loved and valued and have something of worth to offer the world that is priceless.
She is truly a light we need whose physical presence will be heavily missed, but her light will never be erased or dimmed or lost because of how many people she has impacted. All the love ❤️

My sister, my mentor, my Angel. I don’t know what the to say. You’re Angel, you gave me a second chance, you pulled me out of depression, you told me no one has the talents that I BEHOLD and it can’t be copied, YOU TOLD ME WHO I WERE AND I KNEW IT, we did so many events together that I can’t even keep count, we just talked last year laughing for hours, I remember chilling and coming to hang with you every other day when I first moved to New York at the apartment in Jersey, I’m totally sad, happy, mad, crying, and disappointed that this world did so much to you but didn’t protect you. I wouldn’t have the friends that I have like if it wasn’t for you. YOU HAVE CREATED SSSSOOOO MANY FUTURES FOR SO MANY PEOPLE AND IM SAD THAT NONE OF US COULD HELP YOU. I’m really disappointed with myself for not being more selfless and serving you as a friend should. I LOVE YOU. I MISS YOU. I THANK YOU. I THANK YOU FOR BEING THE BEST SISTER. I LOVE YOU
