There will never be a day that goes by that I do not think of beautiful Winter, she holds a very special piece of my heart that will be broken forever. I will never forget this day four years ago. My heart was forever changed and broken.I was fortunate enough to visit her at Clearwater Marine aquarium Throughout her whole entire life. My home is filled of photos and treasures of her. I was also lucky enough to have met her personally.Swim with your beautiful perfect tail, and tweet on your blue mat… and I know you are blowing beautiful bubbles with your kong!I will love you and miss you forever!(oh and the first thing I do every year when I get to Florida now is put my feet in the ocean so that I can feel close to you!)

I prefer to remember those we loved on the day they were born since we never would have known them otherwise. As a native Floridian Winter was part of my family/. I only met her once but she gave us so much.

When the movie about Winter first came out, I asked all my friends to go see it with me. But everyone was busy. So I went to the movie by my self. I Loved the movie and fell in Love with Winter. I also had the pleasure of tuning in to watch her almost daily on the live camera the aquarium had set up in her daily pool. I rehab birds and small animals and Winter will forever remain in my Heart! ♥️

11 years ago I took my kiddos (now 20&24) to Clearwater Aquarium and they happened to be training for Dolphin Tale 2. My kids loved it! We miss you Winter - Happy Birthday!

When I was 6 years old I was watching TV when the movie “Dolphin Tale” came on. I was hooked by it, and after that I think I must have taken every dolphin and whale book out of my school library and the one in my community.
My dream was to see Winter one day, I was obsessed and would go on seewinter.com all the time to watch Winter, Hope, and Nicholas. I could recognize them so easily.
I had all the dolphin stuffed animals, toys, pictures, and posters you could imagine, and everyone I knew, knew me as the dolphin girl .
When I found out winter was sick I was shattered I would wait for updates and cry to parents about if she was going to be ok or not, and on Nov 11th 2021 my parents broke the bad news to me. I stayed home from school and cried holding my winter stuffy all day.
I am now 14 and Winter has completely changed mine and so many other peoples lives, and even though I never got to see her, I still wish to visit CMA one day. Winter inspired so many people and I will continue to remember her and love her every day.

I will always miss you and forever be heartbroken that you are no longer here, but I have so many wonderful memories and have been lucky enough to spend time with you for all of your sixteen years, visited you every year while I’m on vacation in Florida and watched you from the very time you were rescued, my home is filled with memories of you and I will love you forever! Happy 20th Heavenly Birthday Winter!❤️

We took our daughter Mary to see her friend Winter to celebrate 5 years being cancer free. Like Winter, our Mary fought and overcame a medical hardship. Our Mary loves the ocean-just like Winter. Winter will always hold a special place in our hearts! We love you Winter!
