Wayne's obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Moore, a remarkable man full of vivacity and determination. Born on August 19, 1942, Wayne was a pillar of strength, love, and guidance to his family and friends until his unexpected departure on April 20, 2025.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Wayne is survived by his beloved wife, Maria, and his doting daughters, Hannah, Hazel, and Heidi Moore. He is also survived by his cherished sister, Sharon Walz, his nieces, nephews, and in-laws. He held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, Alejandra, Marybell, and Angel Topete. They continue to be embraced by the love and unity Wayne so constantly nurtured.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Roscoe Moore, sister-in-law, Sister Myra Luntok,  father-in-law, Angel Luntok and brother-in-law, Wayne Walz. His loss is deeply mourned by his loved ones. Wayne lived by his lessons of hard work, integrity, and treating everyone with kindness. These lessons echoed in his interactions and remain as an integral part of his enduring legacy. His commitment to family, his drive for success in his professional realm, and his unfaltering kindness have left indelible impressions on those fortunate to have known him.

His fondest memories are spending Christmas with the family, baking Christmas cookies, and long hours of drinking wine and playing card games. He shared his love for a wide range of music from The Beach Boys to ABBA. His joy was palpable when sharing his favorite foods with friends and family.

His time living abroad in Europe and Asia along with his many world travels made Wayne an expert in all the best places to golf and the best places to eat. You could always count on him to recommend the best sights and restaurants.

A connoisseur of fine drinks, he savored cognac and wine, and was rarely seen without his signature large cup (pot) of coffee. Remembered as clumsy yet focused, stubborn but jovial, Wayne's relentless hardwork and love for his family were truly inspirational.

In his lifetime, Wayne was a pioneer in the world of semiconductors, leading with determination and passion. Yet, among his many noteworthy accomplishments, he considered his family - his wife, his three children, and his extended family - to be his greatest masterpiece. He was incredibly proud of his daughters, Hazel, Heidi, and Hannah who will carry on his vast legacy. His lessons of valuing education, being curious about the world, and always pursuing one’s passions have left an indelible mark on his loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted via www.everloved.com/life-of/way… to help honor Wayne's life and vision. Wayne Moore's vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and warm heart will be deeply missed. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him, as we strive to uphold the values he held dear.
