Ginny was my best friend. She was so smart and very funny. All I can say is that I love Ginny so much.

Ginny was a beautiful person. I was only a child when I met her, but even at a young age I could tell that she was very caring and that she loved her family very much. I simply can’t recall a time when she was negative in any way. She was always smiling and when she asked how you were, she meant it. It wasn’t a greeting, she really genuinely cared and wanted to know how you were. Now at 40, I can honestly say that people like her are few and far between.
Mr. Kubiak and Alison, I am sorry for your lose. Your family is in my family’s thoughts and prayers.

Everyone should have a forever friend and Ginny was mine. Ginny and I have been close friends since we were teenagers. Ginny always made me laugh with her wonderful sense of humor. I was in constant awe of her creativity. Her kindness and thoughtfulness were never ending. And she was wise beyond her years. The world was and will remain a better place for all of us who knew and loved her. I am so blessed to call her my forever friend.

Ginny was such a lovely woman. She was gracious and kind and just someone who was like a breath of fresh air. She was one of a kind. Lyman and Sandy Hunter (neighbors from Woodbridge)

Rick & Alison,
I met and spoke with Ginny many times, as I live just down the street. Her warmth and kindness always made me smile.
My sincere condolences.

Ginny was an amazing administrator, and mentor, and she always seemed to keep everyone in their toes. As a young teacher, her high standards and expectations scared the daylights out of me, but when push came to shove, ‘the Koobs’, always had our back and we were all much better for it. She always had a way of making the mundane fun, and her wisdom and guidance helped to guide me early in my career. I still get a good laugh thinking about the funny things she would say, or do at school and I will never forget the time she requested that I attend a lunch at the Crystal City Hilton with her; a lunch the she demanded to have from the hotel because in her words, “we are spending enough, the least they can do is give us a lunch”.
I don’t think that she ever knew the impact that she had on me, and she will be dearly missed. Rest in peace Ginny.

My love for Mrs. Kubiak is one that will never leave my heart. As her student she inspired me in so many ways. As my mentor she always guided me in the right direction. As my friend she was always there. Our relationship grew over the years. I remember on my wedding day as I was getting ready she says to me “It’s not too late!” Needless to say, her advice was always on point, real, and said with a bit humor. I love and miss her dearly.
Alison and Mr. Kubiak you are in my prayers.

Ginny had an incredible wit and always had a smile for everyone . She was a tough boss and expected you to do your best. She made good teachers better teachers . She was well respected and very thorough in all she did.
I loved working with her, and will never forget her kindness of spirit.
Ginny will be missed by so many. Heaven just got a true Angel.

To the family of Ginny Kubiak......I did not personally know her. But while my late husband, Ben Wood, was the Safety and Security Director at WHS while Ginny was there as an AP, I feel like I got the chance know her from his stories. Ben had the opportunity to work with Ginny on many projects during school hours and after school functions. He had so much respect and love for her as part of his work family. I know that many times they shared their faith stories. If he were still here today, I know that he would be saddened by your loss. But maybe they will have the chance to meet up again in Eternity. What a reunion! I will pray for comfort and peace that can only come from the Holy Spirit as you grieve.

I feel that I’ve come to know Ginny through Alison’s updates. And if Alison is any indication, both Ginny and Rick are the best of people and parents. May almighty God grant blessings upon Alison and Rick while Ginny is standing in His presence, whole and perfect!

I learned so much from Ginny while she was our English Dept. administrator. She had such high standards, for faculty and students, making Woodbridge SHS a better place. Now and again we would butt heads: she was always so put together and organized--I was never those things :0)--but her wisdom, compassion and humor made me a better teacher, coach and parent. We love Ginny and will miss her dearly.
