Thank you so much for everyone's love and support during this difficult time. Losing Toryn has been incredibly difficult, but it's been made a little easier by this community of amazing people who surround us. We appreciate all the texts, phone calls, meals, donations, cards, prayers, and check-ins, while we haven't been able to respond to you all, please know how much we value each of you.

We are moving forward with our plans to have a celebration of life for Toryn here at our home on Saturday, October 21st. Please join us in celebrating our beautiful boy and enjoying some of his favorite things.

Update from Aug. 9, 2024

First, we would like to say thank you for your love and support over the past several months. Your thoughtfulness, prayers, meals, donations, and time spent with us have been such a source of comfort for our entire family. We have been overwhelmed by Toryn's impact on our community.

We welcome you to come by Harmony School and see Toryn’s Adventure Garden. It was created in Toryn's memory as one of his favorite places to play. We will be hosting an open house on Tuesday, August 20th from 4-6p if you wish to come and see the space in person.

Light refreshments and cookies will be provided. We hope to see you there.

I wanted to update you regarding Toryn's Adventure Garden at Harmony School. They have officially broken ground on the project. I will post a few photos of the progress so far. We are so excited to see this become a reality. Thank you again to each of you for your contribution.

Hello,

We wanted to drop a quick note to everyone before the Celebration of Life on Saturday. We are planning this to be a true celebration of Toryn, his life, and, the things he loved. We will be eating BBQ (one of his favorites) and enjoying the beautiful day outside. This is a family event, children are more than welcome. There will be plenty of parking in the fields in front of our home.

We have had many questions regarding the dress code. This is not a formal event, please do not wear black or a suit. Please dress for a beautiful Colorado day.

We are shattered. Early last Friday morning our son Toryn went into cardiac arrest in our home. While we are still not positive as to what happened, he had been dealing with croup for several days prior and had been seen in the ER twice. Thankfully he was with us, and we were able to start CPR right away. An amazing team of first responders came and were able to get his heart beating again …
