So sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Tom but I came across the obituary. Looks like he was a good man and had a positive effect on his Family and friends. Loosing a loved one in death is very difficult to deal with. But Tom will always be remembered. Jehovah God promises that soon these tragedies will be done and away with. “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) Please know that not a single tear drop of yours has gone unnoticed by Jehovah.
Rene: I just today found out about Tom and my heart goes out to you and your family. I am so very, very sorry to learn of his death. I would go to the memorial service but my ears (hearing) won't allow that ! I was in the original Buck Ctr. mah jongg group with you and Barry.... Cathi Fox told me today and I just had coffee w/Carole Kessler yesterday! I have shared Tom's obituary with them.  Please accept my deepest sympathy Rene. Love from Sally.

Dear Rene,

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Tom’s passing.  We fondly recall seeing you both at our community pool during summer swims here at The Peninsula.  It was always a pleasure seeing you and chatting between laps swimming the length of the pool.  In recent years you relocated and we have missed that neighborly connection with you both.  We remember you both so  fondly!  Our sympathy to you, Rene and to your dear family.

Dear Rene and Family,

My deepest sympathy for Tom's passing. Tom and I were Delta Tau Delta Fraternity Brothers at Bowling Green State University for three years. I have many great memories about Tom. He had a great sense of humor. I am very glad that I had the privilege of knowing him. May his Soul rest in heavenly peace.

Dear Rene, Matt, Sarah and family,

Our love and thoughts are with you. Tom and Rene have been lifeling friends of my parents and our entire family and we thank you for that. Tom will be missed. We pray he is in peace and that you all find comfort in knowing this.

Tom was so nice to me when I first ushered at Columbine United Church. A man of patience and understanding he always had a smile and a warm greeting. When my brother, an Army veteran from the Viet Nam era, came out to visit earlier this year, he attended church with me and after the service, Tom and another veteran shared stories and feelings about their tours of duty overseas. As it turns out, they both had written a book about their experiences. Thank you for your kindness Tom and God be with you Rene.
I knew Tom through the Littleton Rotary Club. He was an avid supporter of the Club and its Foundation. He was personally a big help to me when I became president of the Foundation. A word that comes to mind when I think of Tom is "courtly." I missed seeing him after the move to WindCrest. My heart goes out to his family.

Rene:    So sorry to hear about Tom.   You folks were great neighbors and have been greatly missed.

Our hearts go out to you and your family.      John and Christie Hauschild

Tom had become a good friend in only the short time we’ve known him and Rene. We are so very sad for our loss, and especially sorry for Rene, Matt and Sarah and his beloved grandkids.❤️
I met Tom shortly after moving in here at WC together.    I was impressed with his knowledge and ability to simplify financial statements for this engineer.  Also enjoyed stories from our shared Western NY.  Will miss him.
I am shocked to read about your loss of a beautiful husband. Know I am sending heartfelt hugs to you Rene and Sarah, Matt and family.
I met Mr & Mrs. Bury here in CT once and all I can say they are the nicest people just like Matt & Sonya.  Death is hard I went through it 6 years when my father passed.  We are here for you if you need us.  The Beatty family is praying for your strength   Matt you have some great memories of your dad so cherish them.
So taken by surprise. Was about to send my good friend a video of our sailing on Chautauqua Lake back in the 60’s. He and I met in Long Binh Viet Nam in 1966.  Thinking of the days when were class mates in Gowanda. Tom was from a great family. My mom and dad enjoyed many parties with them, the palcics, Schaachs. Many others. A great great place to grow up. Am very saddened to hear this. So sorry i didnt take the opportunity to visit with him and Renee again. Am deeply saddened but know he is with our Father.
