Susan Diane Meyer Celebration of Life Picnic

• Date and Time:  Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:30 AM
• Location:  Orchard Picnic Area, at the top of Brook Road, Tilden Regional Park, Berkeley CA 94708
• Directions: Brook Road is just off of Lake Anza Road as you head towards Lake Anza Beach

 All Who Knew and Loved Susan are Welcomed! 

We remember our mom and grandmother for her love of life, vitality, warmth, and a smile that could light up a room. A life so joyfully lived deserves a joy filled celebration! Please join us to remember Susan and connect with one another. Although there will be room for tears, we invite you to bring your favorite stories of Susan, laughter, and happiness for a life that was lived to the fullest. We will start with a gathering and time to tell stories, followed by a picnic.

11:30 AM - Gathering (we will start promptly)

• Welcome and opening words
• Share favorite stories and memories of Susan
• It is okay to come listen and not share

1:00 PM - Picnic Lunch

• Picnic food and beverages will be provided

What to Wear

• Informal, casual and cheerful dress attire. Jeans , t-shirts, and tennis shoes are all okay
• Bring extra warm layers
• Limited shade: Bring hats and sun protection

What to Bring

• A folding lawn chair or picnic blanket to sit on during our gathering time. You are also welcomed to stand.
• No gifts or flowers.
• Your favorite stories and memories!

Parking, Picnic Site Details, and Bathrooms

• There is a large dirt parking area down the hill from the Picnic Area.
• This is a beautiful site with limited shade
• Bathrooms are near the picnic area, up a few stairs and short walkway
