Steven Thai, affectionately known as Dee, passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 38. He left behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

Dee had a rare gift for finding humor in the most unexpected places. His quick wit, infectious laughter, and unexpected quips brought energy to any room. He approached life with a sense of curiosity and wonder, always ready for the next adventure.

To know Dee was to love him. He cherished his family, his partner Amanda, his nephew Jaxson, and his tight-knit circle of friends. He had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. Dee's passions were as diverse as his jokes. He found great joy in small moments with Amanda and Tashi. He always showed up, poured love into his bonds with a tight-knit circle of friends that always made room for one more. He made people feel seen, heard, and valued.

He taught us to embrace our quirks, find joy in each moment, and never take ourselves too seriously. His memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew and loved him.

Dee is survived by his partner, Amanda Leigh; his parents, Ngọc "Nancy" Nguyễn and Thao Thai; his brothers, Dino, Tuan, and Trung; his sister-in-law Christina; and his nephew Jaxon.

Among those who held a special place in Steven's heart were Vũ N., Steven A., Patrick B., Yousef B., Dmitry B., Allie H.,  Olivia P., Grant H., Billy L., and Andy L, Holly R., Eric B., Bruce K., Sharon I., Neha N., Anton N.  Their lives, like so many others, were forever changed by Steven's friendship, wisdom, and unwavering support.

His services, visitation, and cremation will be held July 12.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you contribute to his memorial fund in person, online, or by sharing a favorite memory.

Rest in peace, Dee. Your spirit lives on in the laughter and love you leave behind.
