Sara and Brendan,  Reading this heartbreaking news from Germany, where I now reside with daughter and granddaughter, so even though I won't be able to attend the celebration, I wanted you to know that I am thinking about you with love and sympathy. Steve was a truly great guy, with an irreverent but spot-on sense of humor and a devotion to you both. Hugs from across the pond!

I was so sorry to hear about Steve's passing. He was such a smart, talented and fun person to be around.
