Stephan Kyle Rhodes, age 43, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away with his family by his side on August 22, 2025.

Stephan was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 7, 1982, and left this world much too soon, leaving behind a family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Stephan will be remembered not only for his unique perspective on the world but also for his kindness, sharp wit, and the special way he connected with those he loved. He cherished time with family and friends and found joy in both small, everyday moments and big adventures. He loved science, philosophy, and exploring ideas, always seeking to understand more about life, the universe, and everything in between. Some of his happiest moments were spent under the vast Texas Hill Country sky, where he found peace and inspiration in the quiet beauty of the stars.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Rhodes of San Antonio; sisters, Cheryl Rhodes of San Antonio and Melanie Rhodes of Universal City, Texas; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly. Stephan was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Paul Rhodes; his brother, Gregory Rhodes; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Pearl Boyle; and his paternal grandparents, Tom and Alpha Rhodes.

The family will hold a private service among his loved ones to honor Stephan’s life and memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stephan’s memory to Haven for Hope.

Stephan’s presence in this world was truly a gift. His spirit and memory lives on in the love he gave, knowledge and laughter he shared, and the starlit skies that will forever remind us of him.
