Background
It is with profound sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news that Stefani took her own life on August 6th, 2024. In the days since, her family and friends have been grappling with the reasons behind her decision, despite the abundant love and support that surrounded her. We know that Stefani was navigating an incredibly difficult period, facing financial hardships and battling mental illness, which ultimately became too much for her to bear. Her struggles were further compounded by the fear of reaching out for help.
We are determined to keep Stefani's memory alive. She was a cherished daughter, sister, and friend, whose radiant smile and unwavering efforts to bring joy to others will never be forgotten. As her friends, we are organizing a celebration of her life and are dedicated to supporting her family through the financial burdens they now face, so they can focus on healing. While we will inevitably have questions and regrets, we choose to honor Stefani's memory by remembering the happiest moments we shared with her and the smile that will forever remain in our hearts.
